Eddie Padilla's

37 Ford Coupe

Eddie's coupe came to us on a trailer...without a frame. The original frame was chunked in favor of a TCI frame equipped with a 4 link rear, Mustang II front, disc brakes on all four corners, and Ridetech Shockwave airbag suspension. Motivation for this car will be as ol' Henry intended...a Ford V8. A Boss 302 Crate engine to be specific, equipped with a polished Vintage Air Frontrunner, and backed by an electronically controlled AOD overdrive automatic. The first phase of this project included quite a bit of metal work on the floor to work with the new chassis, widening of the rear wheel wells, modifying the frame and firewall to fit the drivetrain, fixing rust, and straightening out the 77 year old sheetmetal. Things are taking shape, no pun intended, and work is going on with fabricating an interior console and mocking up new components. More to come.
